The Royals Baseball Team Suck

If I hear anyone mentioning that perhaps Ryan Franklin is turning some sort of corner... the phenomenon can be easily explained.

The Royals suck.

Really, they do. They're one of the few teams we can reasonably expect the Mariners to do well against, and for that I thank them. I shall, however, ignore pitching numbers from this series, especially of the HR/9 variety, as the Royals are hitting homers at about the same frequency as Bobby Madristch gave them up last year.

So yay, we won, and it was a fun game to listen to. But only because the other team was absolutely awful.

Beltre plays rather good defense, in case there was any question about that...
